Attention: ALL HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Good day,

The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in the disruption of various sectors around the world, including the delivery of higher education programs. To address this concern, and in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 7722, also known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994”; Republic Act No. 11469, otherwise known as the “Bayanihan to Heal as One Act”; and CHED COVID-19 Advisory No. 6 dated 13 April 2020, the Commission hereby enjoins all higher education institutions (HEIs) to accomplish the linked survey tool (https://bit.ly/CHEDsurveyFlexibleLearning) pertaining to the implementation of flexible learning for the continuity of higher education in the country.

The results of this survey will further enable CHED to come up with well-informed policy directions and development initiatives to support HEIs in transitioning to the new normal as they prepare for the opening of classes, Academic Year (AY) 2020 – 2021.

All CHED Regional Directors and Officers-in-Charge are directed to immediately disseminate and facilitate the compliance of HEIs in their respective regions and submit the consolidated report to the Office of the Executive Director at email address executivedirector@ched.gov.ph through Mr. Danesius Ralph M. Necio, Chief-of-Staff, on or before May 7, 2020 (Thursday).

Very truly yours,

Office of the Executive Director
Commission on Higher Education
