RD Calagui Administers Oath Taking of the Newly Elected Officers of the League of Athletic Directors Coordinating Council (LADCC)

The new set of CHED Central Luzon Regional Office (R-III) League of Athletic Directors Coordinating Council (LADCC) for this Academic Year 2022-2023 took their oath of office before Dr. Leonida B. Sigua-Calagui, Regional Director IV as an Officiating Officer on June 7, 2022 at the CHED Central Luzon Conference Room.

Dr. Calagui warmly welcomed the attendees and congratulated the set of officers. She also stressed that “this is the beginning of a strong partnership with the Commission in the field of sports to strengthen sports education and hone the potentials of the students and to initiate that sports organizations in the region be united and come up with sound plan for good sports activities as well.”

The officers of the LADCC are as follows:

President: Mr. Abraham Y. Cruz – Meycauayan College

Vice President (Internal Affairs): Mr. Jeronie M. Baltazar – Pampanga State Agricultural University

Vice President (External Affairs): Mr. Jeffrey T. Jervoso – Angeles University Foundation

Secretary General: Mr. Mark F. Bernardino – Richwell Colleges, Inc.

Deputy Secretary: Dr. Richard J. Decilio – Dr. Yanga’s Colleges, Inc.

Treasurer: Ms. Lea P. Reyno – St. Nicholas College of Business and Technology

Auditor: Ms. Lorena P. Bermillo – Tarlac Agricultural University

Mr. Abraham Y. Cruz, President, LADCC expressed his wholehearted acceptance of their duties and responsibilities on behalf of the new inducted set of officers of CHED Central Luzon Regional Office (R-III) League of Athletic Directors Coordinating Council (LADCC). He pointed out that the council is committed to support the sports programs of the region and they will try their best to encourage HEIs to become members of the organization.

Ms. Lora L. Yusi, Chief Education Program Specialist, on her closing remarks, cited that the real treasures in the region are the people. She also challenged the officers to not just dream and survive but to thrive.
