On-site Monitoring of HEIs in Olongapo City Conducted The virtual conferences with graduate and teacher education deans and program chairs were held simultaneously on Tuesday, June 27, 2022 from 8:30AM to 4:00PM.
A composite team from the Commission on Higher Education Central Luzon Region headed by Dr. Leonida B. Sigua-Calagui, LLB, CESO III, Director IV conducted an on-site monitoring of six higher education institutions in Olongapo City from July 5-6, 2022 to determine their readiness in preparation for the conduct of limited face-to-face classes this coming School Year 2022-2023. Dr. Calagui explained the purpose of the visit and emphasized that CHED CL will provide technical assistance to HEIs as no schools should be left behind.
The six HEIs visited are: The Manila Times College, Mondriann Aura College, College of Subic Montessori, AMA-Olongapo City, Columban College and St. Joseph College-Olongapo. Top school officials were present to welcome the team. They expressed their appreciation to the CHED CL team for the feedbacks and recommendations provided to their institutions.
Included in the monitoring are the learning continuity plans (LCPs) and students and services programs (SAS) implementation of higher education institutions.
