The CHED Central Luzon office collaborated with the Department of Tourism (DOT) in the conduct of Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training on January 31, 2023 at CHED-Central Luzon Conference Room, Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The Department of Tourism’s program is to enhance and uplift the quality of services in the country aimed at fostering excellent service to tourists as part of the distinct Filipino brand.

In her inspirational message, Dr. Leonida B. Sigua-Calagui, CHED Central Luzon Regional Director, encouraged the participants to advocate Filipino culture and be united in the vision of establishing a Filipino Brand of Service Excellence. “Ipagmalaki natin na tayo ay Pinoy”, Dr. Calagui added.

The training was facilitated by Ms. Maria Lucille Galang of the Department of Tourism Region III. The training was designed to know and embody the 7Ms of Filipino values, demonstrate the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence, create an excellent service experience and apply the principles of service recovery. Ms. Galang also emphasized that “Customer service is all about the heart.” Dr. Richard G.
