Conduct of Graduate Education Fair for the Scholarships for Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) for Health and Welfare Discipline

Subject : CONDUCT OF GRADUATE EDUCATION FAIR FOR THE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INSTRUCTORS’ KNOWLEDGE ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM (SIKAP)

Pursuant to CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 06, series of 2020, and its implementing guidelines, the Commission has launched the Scholarships for Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) Grant.

In line with this the CHED Regional Office III (CHEDRO-III) as Lead Region for Health and Welfare Discipline will be conducting the National Health and Welfare Graduate Education Fair.

CHEDRO-III will be assisted by CHEDRO-VII as Co-Lead who will coordinate with DHEIs for both Visayas and Mindanao Regions. On the other hand CHEDRO-II and V will be assisting CHEDRO-III in coordinating DHEIs who are based in Luzon.

The main objectives of the said fair are: 1.) to match the programs with the needs and interests of prospective SIKAP grantees and 2.) to enable interested applicants to understand the requirements of the Delivering Higher Educations (DHEIs) prior to seeking admission. The fair is set on 15 July 2021 at 9:00 AM.
