Regional Information Technology Education Organizations Pledge Support to CHED Central Luzon:
The Association of Computing Education Deans and Program Heads (ACED.PH) and the Philippine Society for Information Technology Educators (PSITE) Central Luzon, represented by their Officers, met with Regional Director Leonida B. Sigua-Calagui, LLB, CESO III on April 6 and 8, 2022, respectively, at the CHED Central Luzon Regional Office. Dr. Calagui emphasized the need to ensure relevance of the plans, activities and programs of both organizations through complementation and partnership. She further mentioned that it is important that studies and dialogues with the CHED CL and other stakeholders be conducted to gather what the higher education institutions offering ITE programs in the region need so they can come up with moving forward activities which are not only aligned to the directives of the Commission but also relevant and beneficial to the HEIs, instructors and students. To all of these, the ACED.PH and the PSITE CL pledged their full support and commit to work in partnership with the CHED CL in all their endeavors.
