PSAU awarded 4th Placer in the 2022 CHED-PADS Innovative Awards
The Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) notched fourth place in the 2022 CHED-Philippine Anti-Illegal Drug Strategy (PADS) Innovative Awards on June 9, 2022. The award was received by Dr. Anita G. David, OIC-President, concurrent Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ms. Myrna B. Lorenzo; VP Administration, Business and Finance, Dr. Zilpha Florinda F. Liwanag; Head, Medical Services, Dr. Arnello S. Valerio; Director, Office of Student Affairs and Services and the PADS Program Focal Person of CHED Central Luzon, Dr. Roel P. Anicas.
The awarding ceremony was conducted at SMX Convention Center, Lanang, Davao City on June 9, 2022.
The top five (5) national winners are the following: 1st – Ateneo de Davao University (Region XI); 2nd – St. Mary’s University (Region II); 3rd – St. Joseph College (Region VIII); 4th – Pampanga State Agricultural University (Region III) and 5th – University of Northern Philippines (Region I).
The award is given to institutions with significant strategies, projects, and innovations on Drug Education and Prevention strengthening the campaign against illegal drugs complying with Executive Order No. 66, s. 2018 on institutionalizing the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS).
